Tariro Kanyemba
CEO & Co-founder
On the back of 15 years’ experience in the care industry, my wife and I founded Shumira Healthcare with a desire to see change in how individuals are cared for both in their homes and in care homes, and encourage more people into care. It was while caring for people in their homes and supporting their families that I saw a great need for quality care, and families that were struggling to provide the basic care skills they wanted to. I felt I was being called to help the many families that find themselves in these difficult situations.
Esther Kanyemba
Co-founder
I began my career in the care industry at 16 years of age. My experiences led me to train as a Registered Nurse, graduating nearly 9 years ago, more recently progressing into the role of a Sister. During my training, I realised my passion for caring for people in the community. Working as a Community Nurse for the NHS, I came to realise the great need for change in the way people are cared for in the community and how families without support often struggle to provide the care needs of their loved ones. This led to a desire to see better quality training for both families and carers.

Slava Fomenko
Slava specialises in Bid Management and Writing. He works throughout the whole bid management cycle, from identifying and qualifying opportunities, to solution design and presentation. He has over £200m of contracts secured to date. His roles have included elements of networking and Business Development.
Alison Morris
Alison has been a Chartered Member of the Institute of Personnel and Development for over 20 years. She was employed by a leading global agricultural company as HR Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa, based in the Netherlands, Spain, and the UK for over 15 years.
Robert Bannister
With four decades of experience driving growth and innovation, Bob Bannister is a veteran business leader, as a founder and managing director of iManage Performance Ltd, imanageacademy.com and profilingchoices.com Bob provides strategic oversight and hands-on leadership in business development, consulting, training and coaching
Sydney Ugbeda
Sydney is well-known for his track record of catalysing the birth and growth of several high-performing small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across Nigeria. He works with organisations to build systems, structure and strategy for better performance: and helps leaders and organisations make innovative and strategic changes that enhance growth and development. Has worked extensively on projects across the Real Estate, Financial, Oil & Gas. Telecommunications and many more sectors of the African economy.
